Yacht Racing
The Farr 65s are unique in that they were designed in 1999 by Bruce
Farr to be de-tuned versions of the world famous Whitbread 60. Although
they have the performance of a Grand Prix yacht, they are extremely
user friendly for even the most novice of crews.
Each yacht can
accommodate up to 15 guests, plus a professional Skipper and Mate
(and Hostess if required). The yachts are open plan and built for
racing with a practical, yet comfortable interior. There are toilets,
showers, fridges and freezers on each identical boat.
The 65 foot
ocean racing yachts, designed for the 'Millennium Round the World
Yacht Race' with amateur crews in mind, have been built to provide
safe, fast sailing for everyone.
For a corporate
hospitality day or as a reward for your team, these yachts are ideal
for any style of event - the size of the boats impress guests immediately
and they provide the ideal platform for a great day out on the water.
In a world where
business is a way of life for so many, it is important to ensure
that this lifestyle is as rewarding as it is demanding. There is
simply no better way to conduct an 'alternative' business meeting,
team-building exercise or incentive programme than from the decks
of a high performance race yacht.
For those who
have never stepped aboard a 65 foot race machine, the speed and
excitement will be a revelation, for those who have previously chartered
such a yacht, the experience of a corporate charter with us will
only confirm their expectations of excellence.
As with any
charter, your destination and style of event can be tailored to
your exact specification. Match racing is one way of experiencing
yacht racing at its most exciting.
If active participation
is more your style, our experienced crew will guide you and your
guests through the intricacies of racing before putting your yacht
through it's paces.
